Itinerary

 May 18th, Fr Day 1. Arrival to Warsaw 

Arrival to Warsaw. Meeting with the English speaking tour leader and transfer to one of the churches in Warsaw. Holy Mass. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Dinner. Overnight in Warsaw. Hotel Reytan 3*** 

 May 19th, Sa Day 2. Warsaw 

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of Warsaw: Lazienkowski Park with the monument of Frederic Chopin, The Warsaw Ghetto, Umschlagplatz –from here thousands of the Jews were deported to the concentration camps, The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier, Palace of Culture and Science, Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street, The Old Town (inscribed on The World Heritage List of The UNESCO), the St. John’s Cathedral. The Old Town was completely destroyed during The II World War and reconstructed thanks to the commitment of the whole Polish nation. Mother House of Our Lady of Mercy. St. Faustina's parish, St. Stanislaw's Kostka Church. Free time for lunch. Dinner. Overnight in Warsaw. 

 May 20th, Su Day 3. Warsaw – Gietrzwald – Plock – Warsaw

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Gietrzwald (215 km). Arrival in Gietrzwald. Visit to the Our Lady of Gietrzwald Shrine. Afterwards, free time for lunch. Ride back towards Warsaw, with a stop in Płock (175 km). Arrival to Plock. Visit at the Divine Mercy Shrine, where Faustina Kowalska spent some years of her life. Holy Mass at the Sanctuary. Continue to Warsaw. Dinner. Overnight in Warsaw. 

 May 21st, Mo Day 4. Warsaw – Niepokalanów – Głogowiec – Świnice Warckie – Częstochowa 

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Departure to Niepokalanów. Visit to the Church in Niepokalanów, funded by Fr Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Franciscan who died in Auschwitz Concentration Camp. Holy Mass. Continue to Głogowiec (130 km). Visit to the house where Faustina was born. Continue to Świnice Warckie and visit at the Convent of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. Free time for lunch. Continue to Częstochowa (195 km). Arrival in Czestochowa. Check in. Dinner. Overnight in Częstochowa 

 May 22nd, Tu Day 5. Częstochowa – Łagiewniki (Divine Mercy Shrine) – Kraków

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Guided tour of the most important pilgrimage place in Poland –the monastery in Czestochowa: Jasna Gora with miraculous icon of Virgin Mary –The Black Madonna. Holy Mass in one of the chapels. Some free time and time for lunch. Departure to Krakow, Lagiewniki. Visit to the most famous Divine Mercy Shrine in Krakow-Lagiewniki. A place related to both St Faustina and St John Paul II. St Faustina was buried here. The place consists in two parts – St Joseph Chapel and the Convent (the older part) and the new basilica, opened by John Paul II in 2002. Afterwards, a short visit to the new John Paul II Sanctuary built recently close to Divine Mercy Shrine. Continue to the center of Krakow. Check in. Dinner. Overnight in Krakow. Hotel Chopin 3*** 

 May 23rd, We Day 6. Krakow – Wieliczka Salt Mine – Krakow

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Krakow Old Town: Wawel Castle Hill with the Royal Cathedral, Old Town with the Rynek Market Square and the Cloth Hall, the Church of Our Lady with a beautiful wooden carved altar by Veit Stoss. Also visit to places related to Archbishop Karol Wojtyla, as the Franciscan Church, “the Papal window”, the Jagiellonian University. Free time for lunch. Continue to Wieliczka, outside Krakow. Guided tour in Wieliczka Salt Mine –one of the oldest salt mines in the world. There are many famous people who visited the place such as Mikolaj Kopernik, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Dmitrij Mendeleev, Boleslaw Prus, Ignacy Paderewski, Karol Wojtyla, etc. In 1978 year, Wieliczka Salt Mine was listed on the UNESCO first World Heritage List. It is like an underground city, with kilometers of tunnels, chambers and even lakes. Return to Krakow, some free time in the center. Dinner. Overnight in Krakow. 

 May 24th, Th Day 7. Krakow – Oswiecim / Auschwitz – Krakow

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Oswiecim, known more with its German name – Auschwitz. Visit to the Museum of the Former Concentration Camp of Auschwitz and Auschwitz-Birkenau, a place to be visited, a history to be known, a memory not to be forgotten. Free time for lunch and return to Krakow. Free time in Krakow. Dinner. Overnight in Krakow. 

 May 25th, Fr Day 8. Krakow – Wadowice – Kalwaria Zebrzydowska – Krakow

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Wadowice. Visit to John Paul II Museum, a new museum which reopened recently with a new, interesting collection. You will experience, not only visit the place. Afterwards visit to Wadowice parish church where Karol Wojtyla was baptized in 1920. Holy Mass. Free time for lunch in Wadowice. Continue to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, an important (but still local) Polish shrine, with a 400 year tradition of peregrinations. A place related to Karol Wojtyla. We will visit the basilica and take a short walk to see some of the 40 chapels that are spread in the surrounding hills and forests. Return to Krakow. Dinner. Overnight in Krakow. 

 May 26th, Sa Day 9. Krakow – Zakopane – Esztergom – Budapest

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Departure for Zakopane, in Tatra Mountains. Visit to Our Lady of Fátima Shrine, built in the local, wooden architecture style. It is a votive church built after the 1982 attempt on John Paul II life. Holy Mass. Continue to Budapest via Esztergom (300 km) with a lunchbreak on the way (+1h). Arrival to Esztergom, the seat of the Primate of Hungary. Situated beautifully on a hill over Danube River, this is one of the most important churches in Hungary. Inside we will find the tomb of Card. Mindszenty, a saint martyr killed by the Hungarian communists. Continue to Budapest (55 km) Arrival. Check in. Dinner. Overnight in Budapest. May 27th, Su Day 10. Budapest – Remeteszölös – Györ

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Visiting Budapest – the city divided into two historic parts by the Danube River. In Buda we will see The Old City, in Pest the cultural and imperial part. We visit the Fisherman's Bastion with a splendid view on Budapest and the Matthias Church in front of The Holy Trinity Square – the center of Buda, place of incarnation of Hungarian Kings and Queens, St Stephen's Basilica in Pest, shopping at The Main Market (traditional art-crafts, souvenirs), Franciscan Square. Time for lunch in the center of Budapest. Transfer and a visit at the Shrine of Our Lady of Remete. Holy Mass. Continue to Györ. Arrival and a short visit of the town. Check in. Dinner. Overnight in Györ. Ibis Györ 3*** 

May 28th, Mo Day 11. Györ – Klosterneuburg – Vienna

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Departure to Klosterneuburg, in Austria (140 km). Arrival. Visit to the Klosterneuburg Shrine. Holy Mass. Continue to Vienna. Arrival. Vienna sightseeing: visiting by coach:“Ringstrasse” with its fantastic monuments and buildings such as The Opera, museums, The Parliament, The Town Hall, National Theatre and Imperial Palace of Hofburg; after that walking to: Schonbrunn Palace, Belvedere Gardens, The Estate Palace of Prince Eugene of Savoy. Free time for lunch. Continue sightseeing. Check in. Dinner. Overnight in Vienna. Hotel Enziana 3*** 

 May 29th, Tu Day 12. Vienna – Mariazell – Bergheim bei Salzburg – Salzburg

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Departure to Mariazell (160 km). Visit to Mariazell Shrine, the most popular Sanctuary in Austria. After WW2, the Austrian people prayed here to protect Austria from the communists, the country finally gained its full independence. Holy Mass. Free time for lunch. Continue to Bergheim and Salzburg (260 km). Arrival. Visit to the Bergheim Shrine. Continue to Salzburg. Arrival, a short walk in the town. Check in at the hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Salzburg.  June 1st, Fr Day 15. Prague – Departure

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Transfer to Prague airport for the return flight. End of our services.
